Sr. Sarducci Hippo

Foodie Item: Marinted Bocconcini
Your Story: ......and actually anything Italian, since there is no Italina deli in ALL of San Antonio, a deli that actually carries some of the lemoncello's, olives oils, olive mixes, fresh pasta's and desserts found in the great back east Italian delis would be and awesome addition to San Antonio---- for those of us who don't want to eat chips/salsa and tortillas everyday!

Hippo 1 Sez,

The closest Hippo has been to Italy is the new Bass Pro Shop on 1604. When we open our store in Italy you can be sure that we will be stocked with Italian delicasies, but for now we will only have a good selection of Italian wines, vinegars, olive oils, deserts and breads. This ought to cut it for an Italian that lives in San Antonio. Because of your email Hippo paid a visit to Paletta's only to sadly find out that they were gone. I'll do the best I can. Please come see us in March. "Well I did what I did before love came to town".

Hippo 2 sez,
don't forget about our Italian neighbors down the block Hippo 1. I can't recall the name but they serve some great Italian grab and go. Just a hop skip and a jump from Hippos. Come on by Hippos anyway and "we'll make you some food you can't refuse"....I agree, Palettas was a San Antonio favorite. If anyone knows of their where abouts let a Hippo know.
