Your Story: Washington DC has these types of grocery stores all over. I lived in a condo complex which had its own grocery store, sure beat going to the grocery store or liquor store for beer or wine, or for an everyday grocery item.

Did you know that there is no place in the downtown area of the eight largest city in the nation to choose from a decent selection of wine. Hippo's is dedicating over 20% of the grocery area to wine. Hippo gets it. But wait! That's not all. You can drink your wine while your grocery shopping. But wait! That's not all. We will pull your groceries for you (for an additional charge) and you can WIFI or watch TV at Hippo's while your dog laps at the water bowl right outside the front door.
