Foodie Item: Breakfast Delivery?
Your Story: I've lived in the King William District for some time and was pleased to learn of a new grocery store opening in the downtown area. Are you going to incorporate a delivery system for those who don't have time to rush around? Please entertain the idea of a breakfast delivery system. I don't believe any place nearby delivers a hot breakfast to your doorstep.

You’re welcome to drive your motorcycle, moped or tricycle thru the front doors, but no room for the 4 door crew cab. If you like you can drive-by and we’ll throw sandwiches through your window. Now the soup is another story that might get messy on the drive by, you’ll get back to work on time but you’ll smell like a bowl of minestrone with parmesan cheese .
All kidding aside, we will have soup and sandwiches to go and you can call ahead of time and we’ll bring it out to your car. Or we’ll have it waiting and warm. We are currently working on a system that would allow you to access our website, order and pay for your lunch at the site so your sandwich will be ready when you arrive. Unfortunately the building doesn’t lend itself to an actual drive-thru..Bruce once you visit Hippos you’ll probably want to hang out there and eat. Hopefully having your lunch ready when you arrive should give most anyone time to eat, relax a few minutes and get back to work on time.

Hippo will work with you on this. Maybe during lunch time we can pump the parking meters and create a drive up area for us to provide a car hop type arrangement for our special customers with a short lunch break. Hippo may be fat but I'm fast on my feet. Please stay in touch, you can really help us build your downtown store. We'll see you in March.
