Parking at Hippo's and another Trader Joe's Comparison

Foodie Item: foods/wines as carried by Trader Joe's in So. Cal.
Your Story: Trader Joe's is a small store but large western chain carrying healthy foods of its own brand that are packaged in small packs for singles/couples. The stores are always packed with customers because of the very high quality and low prices on all their items. The variety is great. All fruits/veggies are fresh and pre-packed. Meat, fish & cheese too.
We do not use the delivery market on S. Alamo St. because of poor selection & high prices. Follow TJ's lead and we will be faithful customers! Please keep parking charge very low with, say, a one hour limit to discourage those taking advantage of your location. 50 cents/hr. ? We live in Kg. Wm. area.

This is my kind of email. When Hippo's grows up, he wants to marry Trader Joe's daughter. We had our whole store planned out before we knew about Trader Joe's. Since then we have visited several stores and have seen the incarnated version of what we are at Hippo's. There is no finer compliment that to be compared to
Trader Joe's. We are different if a few ways. We have a deli and we have an on-premise beer and wine liscense. That means we want you to stick around, WIFI with us, watch a little TV, drink, listen to music, eat, and GROCERY SHOP. We're different than Trader Joe's but we're also very much alike.

Hippo's is about peace, love, friendship, laughter, respect and groceries; something WalMart will never on their shelves.

I almost forgot about the parking. We have plenty of parking and it's free. We're basically trusting people and if you're at Hippo's the parking is free. If you aren't at Hippo's you will be towed.

I've never shopped at the S. Alamo Street store either but I like the sandwiches. Hippo wants to serve quality food fast. There are a lot of downtowner's that don't have long lunch breaks and Hippo's will be their oasis.

My wife and I just bought a condo in Southtown. We plan to move to San Antonio in 3 to 4 years. We presently live on the westside of Los Angeles. We have 3 Whole Foods and 4 Trader Joe's with a couple of miles of us. We love Trader Joe's and will be delighted to find something like that when we move. As we travel around, we believe that an area has arrived as a urban, hip area when they have stores like TJ's or WF and the density to support them.
